Settlement price, volume, and OI for the Dec '26 Corn contract all saw increases Wednesday. Settlement price climbed 13'0 (+2.48%) to 536'4. The trading range was significantly bigger than even that large jump, having traded between a low of 521'2 and a high of 538'6.

The Nov '26 Soybeans contract's settlement price was also up, but not as much, increasing 28'2 (+2.28%) to 1266'0. That caused the Nov '26 Soybean/Dec '26 Corn ratio to drop from 2.364 to 2.360. This is the lowest the ratio has been in the past three months.

Implied volatility for the Dec '26 option expiry rose significantly, increasing from 23.72% to 25.42%. That puts it 3.03 pts higher than it was 90 days ago. 25 delta risk reversal rose 0.11 to 3.93. It has been trending up since August 10th, when it was at 2.24.
